The Problem We Solve
University students spend hours manually creating flashcards, summaries, and practice questions instead of actually studying. Existing solutions don't help:
- •Manual creation — time-consuming, incomplete coverage, and you end up studying less
- •Generic AI tools — generate plausible-sounding content with no link back to the source material; you can't verify it or go deeper
- •Pre-made study sets — rarely match your specific course materials
PREPEUR solves all three: upload your course PDF, get study materials, and every item cites the exact page and section it came from.
Where It Started
PREPEUR started as a research project, not a business plan. In 2025, founder Erick Olibo completed his Computer Science thesis at Kristianstad University, investigating how AI can generate high-quality educational content from course materials — and more importantly, how to make sure that content is accurate and traceable to its source.
The research revealed a clear gap: existing tools could generate study materials, but none could guarantee they were correct, complete, and linked back to the original text. PREPEUR was built to close that gap.
What We Promise
PREPEUR doesn't just generate study materials — it stands behind them. Before any flashcard, question, or summary reaches you, it must meet five standards:
- •Accurate — every claim comes from your source material, not made up by AI
- •Complete — all the content you selected is covered, nothing skipped
- •Honest — if it's not in your material, it won't appear in your study tools
- •Well-matched — content is appropriate for your level, from simple recall to deeper reasoning
- •Effective for learning — items are designed to help you actually learn, not just look correct
